About us

Pol De Sloovere founded the family business in 1979. Since 2007, the torch has been passed on to the second generation. On our family farm we produce daily fresh eggs as our main activity. Our passion for cooking as a hobby and our love for farming merge into a new farm product: frozen crème brûlée traditionally produced with daily fresh eggs. Sustainable energy is generated by our solar panels. When the sun shines well, we are self-sufficient.

Xavier and Liesbet De Sloovere-Desschans are poultry farmers at heart. Their business is running well and they enjoy their work. But the uncertainty about egg prices gnawed at them. And because they are always up for something new, they got to work in the kitchen with their own eggs. The result is a deep-frozen crème brûlée, with a perfectly burnt crispy layer, which you can serve immediately after a few minutes in the microwave oven.
