In this variation, the crème is stored in a terra cotta cup, which makes it easy to serve in an authentic way. The cups come from Régas (Spain), and can be re-used when the crème is purchased in aluminium (see the refill page).

The base for crème brûlée can be thawed in the refrigerator and then store in the refrigerator for 7 days. The base is finished by you.

They are packed per 8 in a cardboard box. To prevent damage to the terra cotta, they are carefully packed and between each layer in the cardboard box, an extra cardboard is provided to absorb the shock if the box should fall.
